Interpretation of the core content of the standard

This standard applies to the dried flower buds of three species of Magnoliaceae, namely Magnolia grandiflora, Magnolia dahurica and Magnolia wudangensis, and specifies sensory indicators such as external dimensions (1.2-4cm), color (grayish white to light grayish white) and odor characteristics (rich and fresh).

Raw material control requirements

Explicitly require that stem ingredients should not be contained, the total amount of foreign matter should be controlled within 2%, and the magnification of insect pest detection should be indicated (recorded when >10 times).

The moisture determination adopts the ISO 939 azeotropic method, which can more accurately determine the content of volatile components compared with the conventional drying method.

Storage and transportation specifications

Emphasis on the requirements for ventilation and moisture-proof warehouses, stacking must retain a ventilation channel of more than 30cm, and transportation vehicles must be specially cleaned.
