GJMAQ NO.2000-189 in English

"Standard for Allocation of Articles for Labour Protection (on Trail)" aims for guiding the employing unit to reasonably allocate and correctly apply the labour protection articles so as to protect the safety and health of the labourer and ensure safety production in production process. The State Economic and Trade Commission organized and formulated this Standard according to "Labour Laws of the People's Republic of China".

I. This Standard was formulated for the purpose of guaranteeing the safety and the health of the labourer in production process and promoting the smooth development of the production construction according to the provisions specified in "Regulations for the Standardization Management of the People's Republic of China" issued by the State Council and the relevant requirements of "Work Statement of National Standard Department in Regard to Further Strengthening the Supervision Inspection on Product Quality Endorsed by the State Council".
II. This management method is applicable to the organizations for the production, sale, inspection and application of the labour protection articles covered in the issued national standards.
