Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Technical Dimensions Signature Mechanism Encryption Mechanism Integrity Protection
Application Scenarios Authenticity/Non-repudiation Confidentiality Protection Tampering/Muggling Detection
Algorithm Requirements SM2/SM3 SM2/SM4 SM3 Hash Algorithm
Data Structure Signatures.xml Encryptions.xml OFDEntries.xml

Key Technology Implementation

1. OFD Signature Protocol

Supports two modes: electronic signature and digital signature, recorded through the signature description file (Signature.xml):

  • Signature protection range: can specify specific pages or layers
  • Timestamp requirements: must comply with GB/T 20520 specifications
  • Signature verification process: triple verification mechanism (file hash value comparison, signature verification, protection range verification)

2. Layered encryption scheme

Supports local encryption and Overall encryption:

Government document case: Encrypt and protect the red-headed part of the document, establish a plaintext and ciphertext mapping relationship through EntriesMap.xml, and use the SM2 algorithm for key wrapping

Standard Evolution Analysis

Compared with the traditional PDF security mechanism, this standard has the following features:

  1. Support for domestic cryptographic algorithms (SM2/SM3/SM4)
  2. XML structured storage facilitates auditing
  3. Overlay support for multiple signatures/encryption

Implementation suggestions

Key points for product development

  • Strictly follow the algorithm identification specifications in Appendix A
  • Implement the six-step signature process specified in 7.2.6
  • Support CRL certificate revocation list verification

Detection precautions

  • Verify whether the signature value data complies with GB/T 35275
  • Check the path resolution of the encrypted mapping table file
  • Test the signature verification performance in a multi-signature scenario
