Scope
This standard specifies the design, manufacturing and testing requirements for the FYX-1400 decomposable aircraft drop tank. The FYX-1400 disassembled aircraft auxiliary fuel tank is a universal auxiliary fuel tank, suitable for various military aircraft using a 762mm lifting lug spacing suspension system stipulated in GJB1A-85 "General Design Guidelines for Joint Parts of Airborne Suspensions and Suspension Devices" It is used for hanging under the fuselage and wings to increase the range of the aircraft. The auxiliary fuel tank can be ejected during flight.
