Scope
This standard specifies the design, manufacturing and testing requirements for the FYX-800 decomposable aircraft drop tank. The FYX-800 decomposed auxiliary fuel tank is a universal aircraft external fuel tank, suitable for various suspension systems that adopt the 762mm lifting lug spacing stipulated in GJB1A-85 "General Design Guidelines for the Joints of Airborne Suspensions and Suspension Devices" It is used on the fuselage and under the wings of military aircraft to increase the aircraft's range and can be ejected under certain flight conditions.
