Scope

This standard specifies the machining allowances and dimensions for free forgings of aluminum alloys, magnesium alloys, copper alloys, structural steels, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel, titanium alloys and high-temperature alloy aerospace products produced on free forging hammers (hereinafter referred to as forgings) Tolerances (hereinafter referred to as allowances and tolerances). This standard applies to forming forgings with a mass not exceeding 400kg and shaft forgings with a mass not exceeding 750kg and a maximum size not exceeding 4000mm. For forgings beyond the scope of this standard, the remaining quantities and tolerances shall be agreed upon by both parties.
