1 Scope

This specification specifies the requirements and assurance provision and delivery preparation of master superalloy of polycrystalline castings for aeroengine.

This specification is applicable to master superalloy of polycrystalline castings subjected to vacuum induction melting (alloy ingot hereinafter).

2 Normative references

The following documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this specification. 3 Requirements

3.1 Materials and smelting method

3.1.1 Raw materials

The raw materials used for smelting alloy ingots shall comply with HB/Z 131 and special technical documents of smelting process.

3.1.2 Smelting method

The alloy ingot shall be smelted in vacuum induction furnace, and the smelting process shall comply with the technical documents of special vacuum induction smelting process.

In case of major changes in smelting process and conditions, the prior consent of the buyer shall be obtained.
