Technological Evolution and Standard Background

This standard inherits and develops from the MSG-3 methodology, and innovatively incorporates the Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS) and Lightning Protection (LZHIRF) into an independent inspection system. Compared with the traditional outline:

  • Corrosion protection is integrated from the independent CPCP outline into a structured task
  • For the first time, the XML tagging specification of the digital maintenance outline is clarified (refer to GB/T 24463)
  • A cross-indexing mechanism for regional inspection and system/structure tasks is established

Practical application of key terms

Major maintenance items (MSI)

Case: After a certain type of aircraft fuel pump was determined to be an MSI, three types of inspection tasks were generated through failure mode analysis:

  1. Visual inspection (every 500FH)
  2. Functional test (every 1500FC)
  3. Oil filter inspection (combined with engine replacement)
