Introduction
Standard Framework and Technology Evolution
HB 8591-2020 is the first systematic standard for light and small fixed-wing UAVs in my country's aviation industry, marking the entry of the civil UAV industry into a standardized development stage. This standard inherits and develops the compilation principles of GB/T 1.1-2009, integrates the technical accumulation of 11 units including Northwestern Polytechnical University, and reflects the current mainstream technical route of 150kg-class UAVs.
Analysis of core system requirements
| Subsystem | Key technical indicators | Test requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Power unit | Oil-powered type must comply with HB/Z 146 fuel specifications Electric type voltage ≤48V | 500 hours endurance test |
| Flight control | Attitude holding accuracy ±1° Track tracking error ≤10m | EMC test GB/T 17626 series |
| Data link | Uplink delay ≤ 300ms Bit error rate ≤ 1×10-8 | Actual measurement at a radius of 50km |
Key terms for environmental adaptability
Article 3.3.7 of the standard specifies the three-level environmental adaptability requirements:
- Operating temperature: 0-40℃ for normal operation, -20-60℃ for limited operation
- Protection level: at least IP43 (refer to GB/T 4208)
- Wind resistance: ≥8m/s during take-off and landing, ≥15m/s during cruising
Taking agricultural plant protection applications as an example, special attention should be paid to salt spray corrosion protection (Article 3.3.7.9) and pesticide penetration protection requirements.
Implementation recommendations
Design phase
- Adopt modular architecture to meet the interface standardization requirements of 3.3.18
- Redundancy design needs to balance the reliability clauses and economy of 3.3.9
Test verification
- Flight quality tests need to distinguish between level I/II/III standards (Article 3.3.5.1)
- Electromagnetic compatibility tests include 4 major items (Article 3.3.8)
