Scope
This standard is applicable to the design of materials for welded chemical containers of carbon steel, low alloy high-strength steel, pearlitic heat-resistant steel, stainless steel and stainless composite steel plates with design pressures not greater than 35.0MPa and design temperatures higher than -20°C. Material varieties include rolled products, forgings, castings and welding materials. The selection, technical requirements, scope of use, etc. of the container body (referring to the shell, head, nozzle, flange, tube sheet, etc.) and its accessories, welding materials, etc. shall comply with the requirements of this standard. When the design has higher or special requirements for materials, these should be noted on the drawings or corresponding documents.
