1 Scope

This standard specifies the term and definition, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of black rain boots (shoes).

This standard is applicable to waterproof black rain boots (shoes) made of elastic material for general use.

This standard is not applicable to industrial boots and special rubber boots (shoes) for labor protection.
