Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking, storage and transportation conditions for red laser imaging documentaries. This standard applies to red laser image recording films made by coating a polyester film base with gelatin silver halide emulsion on the front and anti-halation coating on the back. This product is used for word processing and image scanning in laser imagesetters or image output machines that use helium-neon lasers with a wavelength of 632.8nm and red lasers of 633nm, 635nm, 650nm, and 670nm as exposure light sources.
