Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the vulcanization accelerator TMTD (tetramethylthiuram disulfide). This standard applies to vulcanization accelerator TMTD obtained by oxidation or electrolysis of dimethylamine, carbon disulfide, sodium hydroxide or ammonia. Chemical name: Tetramethyl thiuram disulfide Molecular formula: CHNS Structural formula: Relative molecular mass: 240.43 (according to the 2005 international relative atomic mass)
