Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial chromium trioxide. This standard applies to industrial chromium trioxide. This product is mainly used as a colorant for ceramics, enamel, and glass, and as a chromium catalyst for organic synthesis. It is also used in the production of polishing pastes, paints, pigments and other products.
