1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of pull-out force of upper bands from bottom of rubber/plastics slippers or sandals which are manufactured by cold bonding or assembling process.
This standard specifies Method A and Method B for testing. Method A is applicable to the determination of pull-out force of upper bands of slippers or sandals manufactured by cold bonding process. Method B is applicable to the determination of pull-out force of upper bands of slippers or sandals manufactured by assembling process.
