Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of heat-reflective and insulating coatings for metal surfaces. This standard is applicable to heat-reflective insulation coatings for metal surfaces. It is mainly used for solar heat-reflective insulation and cooling of metal external surfaces such as storage tanks, equipment, buildings, ships, vehicles, etc.
