Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, identification methods, raw materials and equipment, wet recycling process control conditions and requirements, environmental protection and safety requirements for nickel and cobalt element recovery methods in waste batteries. This standard applies to the recovery process of nickel and cobalt elements in wet recycling of waste batteries (only lithium-ion batteries, nickel-hydrogen batteries and cells containing nickel or cobalt). Other batteries containing nickel elements (such as cadmium-nickel batteries, zinc-nickel batteries, iron-nickel batteries, etc.) can be implemented accordingly.
