Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the ultraviolet absorber 2-hydroxy-4-n-octyloxybenzophenone (referred to as ultraviolet absorber UV-531). This standard applies to UV absorber UV-531 made from resorcinol, trichlorotoluene and 1-chloron-octane as main raw materials.
