For undated references, the effective versions apply. GB 3095-2012 Ambient Air Quality Standard GB/T 16288 Marking of Plastics Products GB/T 18455 Package Recycling Marking GB/T 18801-2015 Air Cleaner GB/T 20861-2007 Terminology of Waste Product Recovery GB/T 26572 Requirements of Concentration Limits for Certain Restricted Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products 3 Terms and Definitions For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply. 3.1 Air cleaner The household and similar electrical appliances with certain removal capacity for one or more kinds of pollutants such as particulate matter (PM), gaseous pollutant and microorganism in the air. (GB/T 18801-2015) 3.2 Recyclability rate The percentage ratio of the mass sum of reusable and renewable parts (excluding energy recovery part) in product to the mass of product. (GB/T 20861-2007) 3.3 Clean air delivery rate (CADR) A parameter of the air cleaner for the cleaning capacity of the target pollutants (particulate matter and gaseous pollutant) under the rated condition and specified test condition; it indicates the rate of the air cleaner providing clean air. (GB/T 18801-2015) 3.4 Low noise operating condition The operating condition of air cleaner at low noise level Note 1. Note 1: the low noise level in this standard shall not be larger than 47dB(A) (sound power level). 3.5 Cleaning energy efficiency The clean air delivery rate (CADR) generated by the air cleaner with unit power consumption under the rated conditions. (GB/T 18801-2015) 4 Basic Requirements 4.1 Product quality shall meet the requirements of GB/T 18801. 4.2 The safety performance, electromagnetic compatibility and degerming performance of product shall meet the requirements of corresponding national or professional standards. 4.3 The pollutant emission of product manufacturers shall meet the pollutant emission standards specified by the state or local governments. 4.4 Clean production shall be strengthened during the production of product manufacturer. 5 Technical Contents 5.1 Environmental design requirements of product 5.1.1 Easy recycling design 5.1.1.1 The recyclability rate of product shall not be less than 80%, with the calculation method detailed in Appendix A. 5.1.1.2 The plastic component heavier than 25g shall be made of single kind of polymer or copolymer. 5.1.1.3 The plastic component heavier than 25g and with plane surface area exceeding 200mm2 shall be marked according to the requirements of GB/T 16288. 5.1.2 Requirements for hazardous substances in components 5.1.2.1 The limitation requirements for restricted substances in product components (including filtering material) shall meet the requirements of GB/T 26572. 5.1.2.2 The substrate of shell and circuit board shall not be made of short chain chlorinated paraffin (SCCPs). 5.1.2.3 The plastic part with mass greater than 25g in the shell shall not be made of chlorine- or bromine-contained polymer and shall not be added with any flame retardant containing organochlorine compound or organobromine compound. 5.1.2.4 Except the electric wires and cables, as for the plastic parts with mass greater than 25g in the product, the phthalates listed in Appendix B shall not be used as plasticizer. 5.1.2.5 The benzo(a)pyrene content in the shell, keys and power lines of product shall not be greater than 20mg/kg, and the total amount of sixteen kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocabons (PAHs) listed in Appendix C shall not be greater than 200mg/kg. 5.1.2.6 As for the ultraviolet lamp used for the product, the mercury content of each lamp shall not exceed 15mg. 5.2 Requirements for production process of product 5.2.1 As for air cleaner, hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), 1,1,1-trichloroethane (C2H3Cl3), trichloroethylene (C2HCl3), dichloroethane (CH3CHCl2), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), trichloromethane (CHCl3), tetrachloromethane (CCl4), bromopropane (C3H7Br), etc. shall not be used as cleaning solvent. 5.2.2 During assembly and connection of components, leadless welding procedure shall be adopted. 5.3 Product requirements 5.3.1 Purification requirements for product against fine particulate matter (PM2.5) 5.3.1.1 CADR of product against fine particulate matter (PM2.5) shall meet the requirements specified in Table 1.
