1 Application Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, technical contents and testing method of environmental labeling products such as digital copying (including multi-function) devices (hereafter referred to as copying device).

This standard is applicable to black-and-white copying device, color copying device and digital multi-function copying device with basic function of copying.

3 Terms and Definitions

For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

digital copying (including multi-function) devices
the device that converts the original image or text to digital signal by scanning and then copies them in static imaging mode after digital processing; multi-function refers to including one or multiple additional functions (e.g. print, telephone, fax, scan, network etc.) at the same time
