Scope

This standard specifies a gas chromatographic method for the determination of TNT, RDS and DNT in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of TNT, RDS and DNT in wastewater from the ammunition charging industry. When the sampling volume is 10.0 ml, using a packed column, the detection limit of the method is: TNT 0.02 mg/L, RDS 0.1 mg/L, DNT 0.01 mg/L; the lower limit of determination is: TNT 0.08 mg/L L, Randidine 0.4 mg/L, Diendin 0.04 mg/L. When the sampling volume is 10.0 ml, using a capillary column, the detection limit of the method is: TNT 0.02 mg/L, RDS 0.05 mg/L, DNT 0.01 mg/L; the lower limit of determination is: TNT 0.08 mg /L, Rhododendron 0.2 mg/L, Diendin 0.04mg/L.
