There are several methods for chromatographic integration.


Scope

Warning: The internal standards, substitutes and standard samples used in the experiment are volatile toxic chemicals. The preparation of their solutions should be performed in a fume hood. Protective equipment should be worn as required during operation to avoid contact with skin and clothing. . This standard specifies a purge-and-trap/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry method for the determination of volatile organic compounds in soils and sediments. This standard is applicable to the determination of 65 volatile organic compounds in soil and sediments. If verified, this standard can also be applied to the determination of other volatile organic compounds. When the sample amount is 5g and a standard quadrupole mass spectrometer is used for full scan analysis, the method detection limit of the target substance is 0.2 to 3.2 μg/kg, and the lower determination limit is 0.8 to 12.8 μg/kg. See Appendix A for details.
