Scope

This standard specifies the sodium bicarbonate extraction-molybdenum antimony spectrophotometric method for the determination of available phosphorus in soil. This standard is applicable to the determination of available phosphorus in calcareous and neutral soils. When the sampling amount is 2.50 g, 50 ml of sodium bicarbonate solution is used for extraction, and a 10 mm cuvette is used, the detection limit of this method is 0.5 mg/kg, and the lower limit of determination is 2.0 mg/kg.
