本标准提出了火力发电厂及锅炉自行监测的一般要求、监测方案制定、信息记录和报告的基本内容和要求。
本标准适用于独立火力发电厂和自备火力发电机组（厂）的自行监测，及排污单位对锅炉的监测；不适用于以生活垃圾、危险废物为燃料的火电厂和锅炉。
排污单位可参照本标准在生产运行阶段对其排放的水、气污染物，噪声以及对周边环境质量影响开展监测。

Scope

This standard puts forward the general requirements for self-monitoring of thermal power plants and boilers, the basic content and requirements for the development of monitoring plans, information recording and reporting. This standard applies to the self-monitoring of independent thermal power plants and enterprise-owned thermal power generating units (factories), and the monitoring of boilers by sewage discharge units; it does not apply to thermal power plants and boilers that use domestic waste and hazardous waste as fuel. Pollutant discharge units can refer to this standard to monitor the water and gas pollutants they discharge, noise and the impact on the quality of the surrounding environment during the production and operation stage.
