Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for monitoring dioxins in water, gas, soil, sediment and solid waste, including monitoring procedures, monitoring sites, laboratory analysis, personnel requirements, report preparation, quality assurance and quality control, and waste treatment and other technical requirements. This standard applies to dioxin monitoring in the monitoring processes such as environmental surveys, environmental impact assessments of construction projects, environmental acceptance of completed construction projects, supervisory monitoring and entrusted monitoring. Emergency monitoring of dioxins in pollution accidents can be carried out with reference to this standard.
