Scope

This standard specifies a high-performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of aldehydes and ketones in soil and sediments. This standard applies to formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein, acetone, propionaldehyde, crotonaldehyde, butyraldehyde, benzaldehyde, isovaleraldehyde, n-valeraldehyde, o-methylbenzaldehyde, m-formaldehyde in soil and sediments Determination of 15 aldehyde and ketone compounds including methylbenzaldehyde, p-methylbenzaldehyde, n-hexanal, and 2,5-dimethylbenzaldehyde. When the sampling volume is 10 g and the constant volume is 10 ml, the method detection limit of 15 aldehyde and ketone compounds is 0.02-0.06 mg/kg, and the lower determination limit is 0.08-0.24 mg/kg.
