1 Application Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, packaging and storage, etc. of sludge scraper.
This standard is applicable to the peripheral transmission type and center transmission type sludge scrapers used for scraping off the sludge on the bottom of circular or square radial flow sedimentation tank as well as joist barrow type and chain transmission type sludge scrapers used for rectangular horizontal flow tank in water treatment process. It is also applicable to sludge scrapers with oil scraping and residue scraping devices.
