Scope

This standard classifies and codes environmental management, environmental science, environmental technology, environmental protection industry and other information related to environmental protection; this standard only stipulates the basic framework and codes for environmental information classification. This standard applies to the management of environmental information collection, exchange, processing and use as well as the construction of environmental information systems by environmental protection departments at all levels across the country.
