Scope

This part specifies the testing methods and testing instruments for various spur gear shaper cutters. These methods are not the only ones. CNC testing instruments such as gear measurement centers can also be used.  This section is applicable to the testing of gear shaper cutters produced according to GB/T 6081 and GB/T 6082.
