本标准规定了低压三相交流异步电动机电力电子软起动装置通用的技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存要求。
本标准主要适用于额定电压1140V（1200V）以下三相交流异步电动机晶闸管调压电力电子软起动装置（以下简称装置）。
其它型式的电力电子软起动装置的可参照执行。
Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for low-voltage three-phase AC asynchronous motor power electronic soft starter devices. This standard is mainly applicable to thyristor voltage-regulated power electronic soft starting devices for three-phase AC asynchronous motors with rated voltages below 1140V (1200V). Other types of power electronic soft starting devices can be implemented by reference.
