Key technical requirements

The standard stipulates that formaldehyde gas sensors must meet 20 performance indicators in five categories:

  • Environmental adaptability: Pass rigorous tests such as -25℃~55℃ temperature storage, alternating humidity and heat, vibration and shock
  • Accuracy index: Long-term sensitivity drift ≤18%, zero drift ≤0.5×10-6
  • Dynamic characteristics: Response/recovery time does not exceed 120 seconds

The standard establishes a three-level verification system:

  1. Basic test: Sensitivity is determined using the step gas concentration change method
  2. Environmental test: 12 environmental stress tests are carried out in accordance with the GB/T 2423 series standards
  3. Long-term stability: Drift characteristics verified through 720 hours of continuous testing
