Standard Overview and Technical Evolution
JB/T 13178-2017 is my country's first dedicated industry standard for negative pressure powder and particle conveyors. It is managed by the Machinery Industry Food Machinery Standardization Technical Committee (CMIF/TC 14). This standard fills a gap in the standardization of pneumatic conveying equipment in the food, chemical, and other fields. Compared to traditional mechanical conveying methods, it focuses on the hygiene requirements and energy efficiency indicators unique to negative pressure pneumatic conveying.

5.3 Electrical Safety
Case Study: A milk powder production line had static electricity accumulation due to excessive grounding resistance (0.15Ω). By installing a copper grounding electrode, the resistance was reduced to 0.08Ω, meeting the standard requirement of ≤0.1Ω.
