Scope

JB 5346-1998 This standard is a revision of JB 5346-91. This standard specifies the definition, model and classification of series reactor products for high-voltage shunt capacitors, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, basic contents of product markings and factory document nameplates, basic requirements for packaging, transportation and storage, etc. This standard is applicable to series reactors connected in series with high-voltage parallel capacitor banks in power systems with voltage levels of 6 to 66 kV to suppress grid voltage waveform distortion.
