1 Scope

This standard specifies terms and definitions, models and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the oil injected screw air compressor for general use (hereinafter referred to as screw air compressor).

This standard is applicable to fixed and modified portable screw air compressors for general use with driver power of 2.2 kW to 630 kW and rated exhaust pressure of 0.3 MPa (0.5 MPa), 0.7 MPa (0.8 MPa), 1.0 MPa and 1.25 MPa.

Other screw air compressors with rated exhaust pressure not greater than 1.6 MPa can also refer to this standard.

This standard is not applicable to variable-frequency oil injected screw air compressors for general use.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB/T 4975 and JB/T 7662 apply.

4 Models and basic parameters

4.1 The model preparation of screw air compressor shall conform to JB/T 2589.

4.2 The rated exhaust pressure, nominal volume flow rate and power of the drive motor used for screw air compressor shall be as specified in Table 1.
