Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of boron carbide sealing rings for mechanical seals. This standard applies to hot-pressed boron carbide sealing rings (hereinafter referred to as boron carbide sealing rings). The working conditions are water, oil, organic solvents, strong acids and alkalis, and media with solid particles at a pressure of no more than 6.3MPa and a temperature of -20°C to 200°C.
