1. Scope
This standard specifies the type, basic parameter, size, technical requirements, inspection rules, marking and packaging requirements of YEZS range of double-speed conical-rotor brake three-phrase induction motors for crane application.
This standard is applicable to various double-speed conical-rotor brake three-phase induction motors for lifting machinery and other equipment (hereinafter referred to as “motor”). This standard can be implemented by reference for those motors derived from this range.

3.1 The protection rating of motor casing is IP54; and the protection rating of fan casing and brake carrier is IP22 (see GB/T 4942.1-2001).
