Scope

This standard specifies the particle size composition, impact toughness, thermal shock toughness, compressive strength, packing density, external impurity content, test methods and inspection rules of artificial diamond. This standard applies to static pressure synthetic single crystal artificial diamond used in the manufacture of abrasive tools and drilling and sawing tools.
