Scope

This standard specifies the scope of application, terminology, product classification, technical requirements, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of low-voltage DC switchgear and control equipment (hereinafter referred to as DC equipment). This standard applies to DC equipment with a DC rated voltage not exceeding 1500V under normal indoor use conditions, including complete sets of equipment for type testing (TTA) and complete sets of equipment for partial type testing (PTTA). This standard applies to DC equipment in power systems, industrial and mining enterprises, construction buildings, transportation, communications and other power projects.
