1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, such as the definition, models, parameters, structural types, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and supply, etc. of metal sealing butterfly valves.
This standard is applicable to metal sealing butterfly valves with a nominal pressure PN=0.05MPa~500MPa and a nominal diameter DN=50mm~4000mm which are provided with wafer and flange connection.
