1 Scope

This standard specifies terms and definitions, general design criteria, design basis, basic structure, determination of technical parameters, and design and calculation of main components and parts of vibrating screen.
This standard is applicable to design of linear vibrating screen and circular vibrating screen (hereinafter referred to as the vibrating screen).

Efficiency of screening
An index used to evaluate the screening effects, counted as the sum of coarser material placement efficiency (Ec) and finer material placement efficiency (Ef) minus 100.
