Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

Standard evolution: This standard replaces JB/T 9246-1999. The main technical changes include:
  • Expansion of the scope of application to gas flow measurement
  • Replacement of "linearity" with "non-linearity" indicator
  • Addition of 12 new requirements such as electromagnetic compatibility

Technical implementation points

Installation specifications:
  1. Liquid type requires a 20D upstream straight pipe section, gas type requires a 10D upstream straight pipe section
  2. Must be installed horizontally and keep the flow direction markings consistent
  3. The sealing gasket must not protrude into the flow channel when threaded connection

Engineering application suggestions

Notes on selection:
  • Gas measurement must be marked with the "G" mark
  • Explosion-proof sensors should be used in explosion-proof occasions
  • High viscosity media require special calibration

Maintenance tips: Check the filter status regularly. When the pressure loss exceeds 1.5 times the value specified in Table 15, the filter element should be replaced in time.
