Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, determination of photocatalytic activity, determination of water contact angle and test result report for self-cleaning performance testing of building ceramics. This standard is mainly applicable to the characterization of building ceramic materials and products with photocatalytic technology and their self-cleaning performance. This standard does not apply to photocatalytic and visible light-responsive photocatalytic building ceramic self-cleaning materials used in dark environments.
