Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and basic requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage of elastic sealants for building doors, windows and glass inlays. This standard applies to elastic sealants whose main components are synthetic polymer materials such as silicone, modified silicone, polysulfide, polyurethane, acrylate, butyl, styrene-butadiene, chloroprene and other synthetic polymer materials.
