Implementation and application points

Key to quality acceptance

  1. When the batch is ≤300 tons, the bulk density needs to be fully inspected (error <50kg/m3)
  2. The flatness of the finished surface is ≤1mm, and the casting surface allows a 2mm deviation
  3. The joint of the pre-assembled bricks must be ≤1mm (negotiable for special working conditions)

Treatment of common problems

When fused-cast zirconium corundum products have network cracks:

  • Width ≤1.0mm and not exceeding 1/2 of the surface width is acceptable
  • Cracks across edges are only allowed to cross a single edge line
  • Cracks at the corners of the channel bricks> 40mm should be scrapped
