本标准是对JC/T 525--1993《煤渣砖》进行了修订。
本标准与JC/T 525—1993《煤渣砖》相比，主要变化如下：
——产品名称由煤渣砖改为炉渣砖并增加了炉渣定义。
——适用范围增加了炉渣砖可用于建筑基础。
——取消了抗折强度，取消了强度为10.0以下等级的砖；增加25．0等级的砖。
——增加了干燥收缩率。
——增加了耐火极限。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of slag bricks. This standard applies to solid slag bricks made from slag as the main raw material, mixed with an appropriate amount of lime (cement, carbide slag), mixed, pressed, steamed or autoclaved. Slag bricks are mainly used for walls and foundations of general buildings.
