本标准规定了增强橡胶用玻璃纤维绳（以下简称玻璃纤维绳）的术语和定义、产品代号、要求、试验方法、检验规则、包装、标志、运输和贮存等。
本标准适用于以连续玻璃纤维纱经过化学处理、烘焙、加捻合股成缆而制成的玻璃纤维绳。主要用作橡胶制品例如同步带、V带、轮胎等的增强材料。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product codes, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of fiberglass ropes for reinforced rubber (hereinafter referred to as fiberglass ropes). This standard applies to fiberglass cords made of continuous fiberglass yarns that have been chemically treated, baked, twisted and stranded into cables. Mainly used as reinforcing materials for rubber products such as timing belts, V-belts, tires, etc.
