Scope

This standard specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, transportation and storage of sand for silicate building products. This standard applies to sand for autoclaved aerated concrete and autoclaved lime sand bricks. Sand for other silicate building products can also be used as a reference.
