Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificates of lightweight alkali-resistant castables. This standard applies to alkali-resistant hydraulic castables used for refractory and insulating linings of various kilns.
