本标准自实施之日起代替JG/T 2-1999。
本标准规定了薄钢板加工成型的钢制板型散热器的术语和定义、型号与标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则、标志、包装、运输与贮存。
本标准适用于工业、民用建筑中以热水为热媒的散热器。其热媒温度不高于120摄氏度，热水pH值应在10~12，氯离子含量不应大雨300mg/L、溶解氧不应大于0.1，其他水质指标应符合GB1576的规定。
