Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, transportation and storage of tempered glass for building doors, windows and curtain walls. This standard is applicable to building doors, windows and glass curtain walls with a thickness of 4 mm to 19 mm. It can also be applied to tempered glass for lighting roofs and awnings. This standard does not apply to fire-resistant glass.
